Prairie States Celebrates Renovation with Grand Re-Opening
Prairie States recently completed a year-long renovation of its offices on the Sheboygan lakefront. A grand re-opening ribbon-cutting and open house was held at the 615 Pennsylvania Avenue location on June 23, 2022.
“Prairie States has been part of the Sheboygan County business community for over 30 years,” said CEO Felicia Wilhelm. “This major upgrade to our facility demonstrates our commitment to the downtown area, and to self-funded organizations across the state of Wisconsin.”
The brand-aligned, updated design extends from the lobby reception area through the work space. Upgrades include flexible work stations for remote employees who are on-site for the day, a state-of-the-art conference room, and a spacious employee training center. There is a wellness room for mindful moments, a private mother’s room, and a welcoming lunchroom.
The work was carried out by Miron Construction Co., Inc. in coordination with Bray Architects. Wilhelm enthusiastically praised their performance and the outcome, saying, “With their help, we’ve created a better atmosphere for our staff. As we continue to grow, they’ll enjoy being in a comfortable and more attractive space for years to come.”
Representatives of the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce, New North, and members of the business community were on hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours and refreshments.
